1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ten Minute Date (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ten Minute Date regarding your use of the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use Ten Minute Date, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
• Complete our 6-step onboarding process including profile verification

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Requirements

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must upload at least 1 and no more than 6 profile photos
• You must answer at least 10 "Vibes" compatibility questions

3.2 Account Security

• You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account

4. User Conduct

4.1 Prohibited Content

You may not upload, share, or transmit content that:

• Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene
• Contains nudity (our AI moderation system will reject such photos)
• Promotes violence, hate speech, or discrimination
• Harasses, threatens, or bullies other users
• Is fraudulent, misleading, or impersonates others
• Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Violates any third-party intellectual property rights

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use automated systems (bots) to interact with the Service
• Create multiple accounts or share your account with others
• Attempt to circumvent our rate limits (100 swipes/day)
• Record video calls without explicit consent from all participants
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data
• Interfere with the Service's security features or infrastructure

4.3 Video Call Etiquette

During video calls, you must:

• Be fully clothed and presentable
• Be alone in a private setting (no bystanders)
• Not record or screenshot the call without consent
• Respect the other person's decision to end the call at any time
• Use the built-in "Extend" feature only with mutual agreement

5. Matching and Video Calls

5.1 Matching System

• Matches are created when two users mutually swipe right on each other
• You may undo your last swipe within 5 seconds
• Matches expire after 7 days if no video call is scheduled
• You may unmatch with any user at any time

5.2 Video Calls

• All video calls are limited to 10 minutes by default
• Calls can be extended by mutual agreement
• Chat is only available during active video sessions
• Either party may end the call at any time
• Call quality metrics (packet loss, latency) are monitored for technical purposes only

5.3 Scheduling

• Users must propose and confirm available time slots
• Reminders are sent at 24 hours, 1 hour, and 10 minutes before scheduled calls
• Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions

6. Content Moderation

6.1 Photo Moderation

All photos uploaded to Ten Minute Date are:

• Automatically scanned by AI for inappropriate content (NSFW detection)
• Reviewed by human moderators when flagged
• Subject to removal if they violate our content policies
• Approved only after passing moderation checks

6.2 Reporting and Blocking

• Users may block or report other users for inappropriate behavior
• Reports require a specific reason and optional details
• Reported users may be temporarily suspended pending investigation
• False reports may result in account penalties

6.3 Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

• Remove content that violates these Terms
• Suspend or terminate accounts for violations
• Report illegal activity to law enforcement
• Cooperate with investigations as required by law

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

7.2 Our Content

The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Ten Minute Date and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

7.3 Feedback

Any feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction or compensation to you.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 No Guarantees

Ten Minute Date does not guarantee:

• That you will find a compatible match
• The accuracy of user-provided information
• That video calls will always be available or error-free
• The conduct of other users on the platform

8.2 User Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

• Meeting people online carries inherent risks
• You are responsible for your own safety when meeting matches offline
• We are not responsible for disputes between users
• You use the Service at your own risk

8.3 Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party services (Cloudflare, SendGrid) for infrastructure. We are not responsible for their availability or performance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ten Minute Date and its affiliates shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Unauthorized access to your account or data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

10. Termination

10.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through Settings. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• Your profile will no longer be visible to other users
• We may retain certain data as required by law
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of West Bengal, India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of West Bengal, India.
